This past week a team from Engage went to Tulsa to present at the Tulsa Techfest Conference at OSU-Tuls campus.
We left Wednesday afternoon around 4pm and drove to Tulsa where we stayed at the Crown Plaza hotel for the third year in a row. It is impressive that David Walker and Team could put this entrire thing together for free (well, 2 can goods or 2 bucks) which was donated to a local charity.
Here is a blog post with the tracks and presenters: www.engagesoftware.com/Blog/EntryID/164.aspx
I've been to every event since the beginning and attendance has doubled by my estimatations since the first year. A bit of history in the making I suppose. One day this event will be 5k developers and I can say I remember when it was only 500.

Re: Tulsa Techfest Conference
Three guys enter a disabled swimming contest. The first has no arms. The second no legs and the third has no body, just a head. They all line up, the whistle blows and "splash" they're all in the pool
The guy with no arms takes the lead instantly but the guy with no legs is closing fast. The head of course sank straight to the bottom.
Ten lengths later and the guy with no legs finishes first. He can still see bubbles coming from the bottom of the pool,so he decides he had better dive down to rescue him.
